Privacy
This notice covers the Veradex website and the Veradex relay. Venue Logger itself runs on each venue's own computer; what it records stays there, under that venue's own privacy arrangements.
What we hold
- Website accounts: your name, email address, a scrambled form of your password, the secret behind your authenticator app (encrypted), the venues you look after, and a record of sign-ins and actions, with the internet address they came from.
- Gate lists, on the relay: for each venue that uses it, the details its PIN holders enter for the people on their gate lists (as set by the venue: usually name, company, role, vehicle registration and mobile number), while that holder's PIN is on, and changes until the venue's own computer has received them.
Why, and who sees it
Only to run the service: to let you sign in, and to carry gate list changes between PIN holders and the venue. We don't sell it, share it for marketing, or use it for anything else. The venue decides what its gate lists ask for and who can change them.
Where it's kept, and for how long
On servers in Sydney, Australia (Fly.io), encrypted in transit. A PIN holder's list leaves the relay when their PIN is turned off. Changes are kept 7 days after the venue has received them, and a venue's data is removed when it stops using the relay. Account records are kept while your account is open.
